General Overview:
The Junior Product Owner supports the definition and prioritization of product features, working closely with development teams to ensure alignment with customer needs. This role involves gathering and analyzing requirements, participating in sprint planning, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the product. Ideal candidates possess a foundational understanding of Agile methodologies, product development processes, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze requirements to align with user and business needs.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, focusing the team on high-impact tasks.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and execution.
- Write clear user stories to guide the development team in implementing product features.
- Participate in sprint planning to align efforts with overall product objectives.
- Incorporate stakeholder and user feedback to continuously improve the product.
- Maintain thorough documentation for knowledge sharing and reference.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
Academic Background and Work Experience:
- Graduate or recent graduate in Business, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of experience in roles like business analysis, project coordination, or entry-level product management.
Required Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Knowledge of the product development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with industry trends, competitor analysis, and market demands.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear idea and requirement conveyance.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Analytical skills for interpreting data and user feedback to inform decisions.
- Adaptability in responding to shifting priorities and requirements.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with Azure (preferred).
