General Perspective:
A Mid-Level QA Engineer ensures product functionality during development. Responsibilities include planning, designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure products meet technical and functional requirements for the company and the client. This role demands proactivity, attention to detail, and creativity to develop thorough testing procedures, verifying both front-end and back-end environments.
Primary Functions:
- Test Cases: Plan, design, execute, and maintain test cases for front-end, back-end, and other components.
- Testing: Perform functional, non-functional, sanity/smoke, and regression testing.
- Defects: Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues during testing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Development teams to ensure quality standards.
- SQL Scripts: Design and execute scripts to support testing scenarios.
- Documentation: Record QA processes and results, ensuring compliance with CFR Part 11 standards.
- Agile Methodologies: Apply SCRUM to streamline and improve testing efficiency.
- BDD: Implement Cucumber and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) techniques.
Work Experience and Academic Background:
- Education: Current student or graduate in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar roles, preferably in manual testing. CRM or ERP experience is a plus.
Required Knowledge:
- Programming technologies (basic to intermediate level).
- Database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Test case management tools and bug-tracking systems.
- Agile methodologies, preferably SCRUM.
- System architecture and its impact on testing.
- Desirable: Experience in clinical trials or the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with Cucumber, BDD, and continuous integration processes.
- Documentation standards for CFR Part 11 compliance.
